The Beauty of Season Change ๐ธ๐
Ever since we moved to the United States in 2022, Iโve found myself in constant awe of nature. Not just because of the beautiful landscapes, but cause of the quiet, continuous evolution of these seasons. Nature teaches us so much without ever having to raise its voice.
Spring has always been my favorite. Itโs the season of blooming and renewal, when everything feels possible again. The beds of sunflowers and roses in our backyard radiate a warmth that only those flowers seem to understand. Birds tuck themselves into our pots to begin natureโs quiet cycle of new life, and rabbits dig tiny homes beneath our garden for the same purpose. Somehow, we all coexist โ humans, animals, plants โ and spring reminds me that nature always finds a way to make room for each of us.
Summer brings its own kind of joy. Growing up, it meant three or four months of school holidays (I wish we had that at work ๐). Summer means the days are longer and the world is wide awake. The sun wants to give us more of that vitamin D โ sometimes overloading our skin, sometimes sinking all the way into the soul. Summer is an invitation to be present, to have fun, and to let that little vagabond inside us run free.
And then comes fall โ the season everyone in the U.S. seems to look forward to. The colors alone feel like a national treasure. Last year, we visited Asheville, and even after the hurricanes that swept through, nature stood strong. The leaves still turned, still glowed, still fell. But the real beauty of fall is in letting go โ how effortlessly trees release what no longer belongs to them.
Winter arrives with its own quiet purpose. The days are shorter, the winds are crisper, and the streets seem to be quieter. The world slips into hibernation mode, and sometimes it feels like we do too. The cold closes in, stirring up our laziness and that familiar seasonal heaviness โ a feeling almost like a prisoner locked in a quiet, chilly cell. But maybe weโre meant to slow down, to Netflix and chill through these icy cold months. All four seasons feel essential because renewal isnโt a oneโtime event. Itโs a cycle.
Nature changes every year without fear, without hesitation, without apology. Maybe weโre meant to do the same โ to let change happen, to trust it, to grow through it.
Like nature does. ๐
