Being Grateful 2025

I have written a blog before on and around this topic but, I was way younger in that. Now older, hopefully wiser and with a different perspective on things calls for a new one! November is the month that reminds us to be grateful even when we tend to forget. Reminding ourselves what we are grateful for can really change the trajectory of our day. (My heart was filled with happiness just by writing this!)

In such a chaos of a world that we live in, it is very easy to get caught in it and gathering our thoughts could be ever so difficult. But I think, taking a step back is as important as moving forward (I surprise myself while I write this). If we want to be more effortless and efficient with what we do then, we NEED to fuel ourselves! And, one of the things that I consciously do is to think of all the things I am grateful for. No matter the situation, I am 1000% sure that there are things to be grateful for and I think that this should be something that more people incorporate! Let me start with my list of stuff.

  1. Out of all the people, I think I am ever so grateful to have met, known, be with Daaji. He’s my teacher who has taught me the ways of life and has been with me through thick and thin. He literally knows every inch about me but doesn’t judge. He’s the person I turn to tell when anything good happens and he’s the one I wanna rant to when I have a bad day. There’s no brain that I’ve eaten more of lol. Out of all the best friends that I’ve lost, he’s been my eternal one. All while being the global guide of heartfulness! 💖

  2. Most of the times, I am grateful for my disability too. I truly feel that it humbled me and taught me lessons that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. I can’t imagine the person I’d be without it.

  3. A non – negotiable on the list is my family. I have a doctor, a therapist, a wrestler, a swim coach, a 24/7 uber driver (sometimes uber eats) lol, a personal trainer, a gym instructor, a meditation trainer all in 3 people! So can’t forget them! 😏

  4. Also, I feel so lucky to be one of those people who got introduced to heartfulness at a young age! All Credits goes to this practice for the mindset I have today and will have in the future :)

There are more but I think this is enough for you to start your lists! I think, if we are able to pin-point the lessons that a situation has brought us than, it becomes easy to be grateful for anything and everything. Happy Thanksgiving and Fall! 🍂🦃
